Soft Embrace

Wanted to get one more picture in for January. So here it is. I like how this turned out. Detailed for the middle of the lily. But soft focused for the outer pelts.

Pink Super Nova

Got bored today. So I went out and bought some flowers to experiment with. This one I exposed for 8 seconds, and used a LED and incandescent flashlight for the lighting.

To Much Hair Gel

Talk about a bird with a bold statement. Bright, and vibrant colors. It almost looks like it`s overdid the hair gel. This guy has pulled out all of his good stuff to stand out in the crowd. Whatever it takes to find a mate.

Old Man Winter`s Place

A red rose symbolizes love. And a blue rose symbolizes attaining the impossible. Given together, they represent your joy of finding your soul mate.

This is an older picture I took awhile back. I used LED lighting and played with the exposure to get this very detailed look at a blue rose.

Soft Passage

I love taking winter pictures. For this shot. I was taking a different picture when suddenly the sun shined through the clouds. I looked around and the lighting was just perfect for a few seconds. So I took my shot.

Winter Beauty

One of my favorite times to get winter pictures. Is during, or just after a winter storm. So this morning I set out to get my first winter shot of the season.

Aren`t these goslings just adorable? Sticking together like children in the schoolyard having their playtime.

Blueberry Filling

As you might have noticed. I`m very much into macro shots. It`s one area of photography that still fascinates me. My grand-daughter Jamie is fond of this picture. So I`m dedicating it to her.

Grace

This beautiful Golden Eagle was kind enough to let me take it`s picture. It was perched up in an old pine tree along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

It looks like these bees are intrested in a new place. I wonder if bees can read?
