Soft Embrace

Wanted to get one more picture in for January. So here it is. I like how this turned out. Detailed for the middle of the lily. But soft focused for the outer pelts.

Pink Super Nova

Got bored today. So I went out and bought some flowers to experiment with. This one I exposed for 8 seconds, and used a LED and incandescent flashlight for the lighting.

To Much Hair Gel

Talk about a bird with a bold statement. Bright, and vibrant colors. It almost looks like it`s overdid the hair gel. This guy has pulled out all of his good stuff to stand out in the crowd. Whatever it takes to find a mate.

Old Man Winter`s Place

Another older picture to upload. Taken during a whiteout storm. This shot just reminds me how winter can be so beautiful. I`d like to dedicate this one to my good friends at pcper.com. Thanks for visiting.

Saddle Up

Today I had a bit of time to go through some old pictures. I only have about twenty thousand to go. I had forgotten about this one. Did a bit of editing. And this is the final outcome.

Romantic Getaway

They say swans mate for life. A perfect symbol for everlasting love. Graceful, and elegant in their bond.

Proud Pose

Eagles have always caught my eye. They represent strength with their proud pose. I`ll never tire of taking eagle pictures.

Forever Love

A red rose symbolizes love. And a blue rose symbolizes attaining the impossible. Given together, they represent your joy of finding your soul mate.

Blue Veined Rose

This is an older picture I took awhile back. I used LED lighting and played with the exposure to get this very detailed look at a blue rose.

Soft Passage

I love taking winter pictures. For this shot. I was taking a different picture when suddenly the sun shined through the clouds. I looked around and the lighting was just perfect for a few seconds. So I took my shot.

Winter Beauty

One of my favorite times to get winter pictures. Is during, or just after a winter storm. So this morning I set out to get my first winter shot of the season.

Playmates

Aren`t these goslings just adorable? Sticking together like children in the schoolyard having their playtime.

Blueberry Filling

As you might have noticed. I`m very much into macro shots. It`s one area of photography that still fascinates me. My grand-daughter Jamie is fond of this picture. So I`m dedicating it to her.

Grace

This beautiful Golden Eagle was kind enough to let me take it`s picture. It was perched up in an old pine tree along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

For Rent

It looks like these bees are intrested in a new place. I wonder if bees can read?

Distant Land

I think this sunrise has a exotic feel to it. Japanese like style. But it would surprise you to know, that this was taken locally here in Ontario, Canada.

The Protector

I thought my blog could use a bit of cuteness. Like any mother. She will do anything to protect her children. To all the mothers. Thanks for being you.

Rays of Warmth

After shovelling snow in the bitter cold today. I thought it was only appropriate to post a picture from summer to help warm my frozen bones. Oh how I miss the summer.

The Forgotten View

This is my first uploaded picture. Many flowers have a stunning frontal view. But I find the backs of some flower more beautiful than the front.
